Over the past few days of studying Edvard Munch I have learned much about his art work, his past, and his well being during his life time. From a young age Munch experienced many deaths starting with his mother who died of T.B. He started drawing at a young age, his aunt who he had been living with ever since his mothers death sparked an interest in his work and had him take up painting. Throughout his painting career he developed a type of thinking of open relationships where he had many affairs. His openness led to many difficulties although that led to his downfall in depression. In my opinion, his stage of depression painting is some of the best work  I have ever seen.
